01 How do I get connected?+
Click “Connect to Retrobbs” above. The fTelnet client opens right here in your browser. Once connected, click inside the terminal and follow the on-screen prompts.
02 How do I navigate a BBS?+
Use your keyboard. Type the letter or number next to a menu option, then press Enter. Each board has its own menus; look for a help option if you get lost. On a phone, use fTelnet’s virtual keyboard.
03 Can I use my own terminal?+
Absolutely. Point your favorite telnet client at retro.nedmr.com:2323. The browser client is just another way to call in.
04 What if the line doesn’t connect?+
The BBS or WebSocket proxy may be unavailable. Check the hostname, port, and proxy in Connection settings, then try again. A loaded terminal does not necessarily mean the board is online.
